For those of you like me, that enjoy a deep cleansing face mask, you will love my recent purchase! This pot of joy is inexpensive and lasts ages, and, best of all, it's got some natural goodness for you skin which I love.

Botanical lab have created a turmeric-based blemish control clay mask that is perfect for oily/ combination skin types and those who are blemish-prone. As many of you, I find that wearing facemasks makes my skin itchy and greasy so I have been obsessed with finding the perfect products to stop my skin from sliding back into an acne nightmare. This mask is currently my favourite- though fair warning, it's not for the light-hearted.

The mask comes in a cute glass jar with a screw metal top. You should notice that this mask is super thick and smells pretty decent. It's this warm and clean, spicy scent. Which I know sounds like a weird combination but it's the only way I could describe it. I love the fact that this mask is pretty natural as it is formulated with Indian clay and kaolin, tumeric and white hazel. I'm hesitant to put anything on my face that I'm not 100% sure about the ingredients in there. I love that white hazel is in the mask as it has natural toning properties and with each year going quicker than the last, toner is very welcome.

After washing my face, I apply a THIN layer across my face and, for a second, it will sting. This mask is seriously powerful so you really do only need a thin layer. Trust me, on this.

The first time I applied it, I have to admit that my eyes watered. But the second time around it wasn't as bad, and overall I can't complain about the results. I'm a pro now.

My skin feels soft and clean. The bonus of this mask is that it only needs to sit on your skin for 10 minutes and when you go to wash it off, it becomes a great exfoliator. This is a definite bonus, especially since wearing a mask for long periods leaves my skin feeling all icky, this mask really gets into your pores and gives you that much needed detox.

It's a ten out of ten recommend (but not for those with sensitive skin).
